Peanut Butter Oatmeal Breakfast Bars are a great way to use up ripe bananas. Hearty, healthy and kid friendly, these breakfast bars are perfect for busy school mornings or a healthy treat after dinner!

Peanut Butter, Oatmeal Breakfast Bars


Ingredients :

·  1/2 cup mashed bananas, approximately 2 large super ripe bananas
·        1/4 cup vegetable oil
·        1/4 cup brown sugar
·        1 large egg
·        1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
·        1/2 teaspoon salt
·        1/2 teaspoon baking soda
·        1/2 cup all-purpose flour
·        1 cup rolled oats
·        1/2 cup milk chocolate chips
·        1/4 cup creamy peanut butter

Instructions :

1.    Preheat oven to 350*F
2.    Prepare 8x8 casserole dish with parchment paper, non-stick foil or grease it up.
3.    In a bowl add mashed bananas and vegetable oil, mix well.
4.    Add brown sugar and mix well.
5.    Add egg, vanilla, salt, mix well.
6.    Add baking soda, flour & oats and mix well.
